Finster brings private markets into focus with PitchBook partnership
Users will be able to screen, model, and generate research on private companies inside Finster with the same speed, transparency, and precision as public market workflows.
Finster is integrating PitchBook data into its AI-native research platform. Users will be able to analyze private companies using the same fast, traceable workflows they already use for public markets.
PitchBook is a premium resource for comprehensive data and insights across global capital markets, tracking the entire ecosystem of private companies, deals, funds, performance metrics and investors. Initially, a portion of PitchBook's company and deal data will now be available in Finster, alongside our growing list of public filings, transcripts and investor relations documents.
“We’re excited to partner with Finster AI to bring our comprehensive private market data into their best-in-class AI‑native research platform. This collaboration empowers our clients to perform critical research with greater speed, accuracy, and confidence.” - Seth Sprinkle, Global Director, Direct Data at PitchBook
With this integration, users can run analysis on private firms in minutes. Company financials as well as most recent deals are pulled automatically and Finster's proprietary citations algorithm means filings and metrics data are cited at a sentence- and cell-level. Adding PitchBook data into Finster's system enables analysts to move faster in private market analysis, while still trusting every number Finster surfaces.
The platform also supports private market screening. Users can apply filters, extract key details, and generate draft outputs such as company profiles or valuation summaries. These can be exported directly into Excel and PowerPoint.
“PitchBook adds essential private market depth to our platform,” said Seán Kilgarriff, Founding Team and Product Lead. “Combining their data with our AI systems means analysts can move faster, surface better insights, and trust the source behind every number.”
The integration helps analysts monitor deal activity and surface insights into investor relationships in private companies. Our AI overlays context onto structured and unstructured sources, making it easier to find signals others miss.
With PitchBook data coming soon, Finster will offer full-cycle research workflows across public and private markets. The result is faster analysis, stronger outputs, and more time for ideas and judgement.
